BismillahiRahmanilRaheem.

 

  • This is the exam I prepared for the students who took the classes of the 4 Rules with me.
  • There is no need for opening any book while answering. It is not allowed to do so.
  • The moment you choose to do the exam and you start reading the questions there is then no more revising, yet one can take his time in answering it doesn’t all have to be in one go.
  • Please write and expand and do not send very short answers for questions 1 and 4. Except for question (1:#5) then the answer should be brief and summarized.
  • Allah is watching, no using Google, neither checking the meanings of the words from the translation of the Quran.
  • Those who did not attend the classes, if they wish to take this exam they can do so, with the same rules above.

  • The answers are sent to either of the Emails above within 15 days from the day of publishing this exam.
  • Say Bismillah while having Tawakkul on Allah and start when you are ready.
  • The Questions will start after this point. Proceed only if you are ready to answer.

 

 


Question # 1 (40 marks)

َExplain:

1. How Istighfar (asking Allah for forgiveness), Shukur (thanking Allah), and Saber (patience), if found in a person, then they are a sign of his happiness.

2. The two types of Wilaya of Allah to a slave. and expand on the word Wali in these Ayaat.

  •  And whoever takes Shaitan (Satan) as a Wali instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss.
  • And the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) will have no Wali.
  • O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya’ (plural of Wali) , they are but Auliya’ to one another.
  • Do then those who disbelieve think that they can take My slaves as Auliya’ besides Me? Verily, We have prepared Hell as an entertainment for the disbelievers .

3. How the Haneefiyyah the millah of Ibrahim is inclined and straight at the same time.

4. How ignorance can be a reason of one falling into shirk.

5. The First Rule: You must know that the disbelievers whom the Messenger of Allah fought against agreed that Allah was the Creator and the Administrator. But this (belief) did not cause them to enter into the fold of Islaam.

Question # 2 (15 marks)

Give examples:

1. Give three examples of starting a Dua (supplication) with tawassul of robboobiya.

2. Thanking Allah is by the heart, speech and limbs, give an example on each.

3. Mention three beliefs the Mushrikeen have in their Awliya.

Question # 3 (15 marks)

Answer the following:

1. What is the opposite of Wali?

2. What is the definition  of worship given by Ibn Taymiyyah Rahimahullah?

3. What is the definition of : 1) Major shirk. 2) Minor Shirk?

Question # 4 (30 marks)

Discuss (write about):

1. Confirmed Shafa’a (intercession).
2. Negated Shafa’a.
